How to play
Choose a rules preset from the menu. American checkers uses the current US/English 8x8 rules: men move and capture forward only, kings move one square, and any legal capture sequence may be chosen.
Russian draughts, also called Shashki, keeps the 8x8 board but lets men capture forward and backward. Kings are flying kings, so they can move or capture across any number of empty diagonal squares.
Brazilian draughts also uses an 8x8 board with backward captures and flying kings, but when several captures are available you must choose a line that captures the maximum number of pieces. The game is drawn automatically after the same position appears three times, or after 80 half-moves without a capture or promotion.
