How to play
Aim: checkmate the opposing king. Pieces move by standard chess rules: pawns advance forward and capture diagonally, knights jump, bishops move diagonally, rooks move straight, queens combine rook and bishop movement, and kings move one square.
Castling, en passant, pawn promotion, check, checkmate, stalemate, threefold repetition, insufficient material, and the fifty-move rule follow normal chess rules.
Play locally against another person on the same device, or choose a side and play against the local engine. Use the Easy-to-Hard slider to adjust engine strength.
